Can anyone tell me if Formal nights are more or less formal in Alaska than, say, a Caribbean cruise? Just returned from our Alaskan cruise on the island princess. I have just come off a Princess cruise to Alaska that had two formal nights. We were spending 5 weeks in Alaska and did not want to pack formal wear and drag it all the way from Australia for 2 nights . (Need a dress?
