On October 31st, 1979, Buddy and his band recorded 13 songs (for two different albums). This is his eighteenth full length studio album, The Blues Is Alive and Well.
Guy’s first release since the Grammy winning Born to Play Guitar in 2015, the new LP comes via Silvetone/RCA Records.. Long time collaborator Tom Hambridge produced the 14 track offering. To release this album, Tricard founded a new label, named "Isabel" by Buddy Guy after his mother.
